How to do it
- Set the seat so the handles line up with your shoulders, then press up.
- Back and head against the pad; forearms almost vertical under the handles.
- Lower to ear level and press up without snapping your elbows locked.
Common mistakes
- Arching your lower back to push more weight.
- Cutting the range short by barely lowering.
- Shrugging your shoulders toward your ears as you press.
