Fitness challenges with friends

Logging is easier when someone's in it with you. In Fituba you earn points for logging, rank up and challenge your friends, without sharing what you eat.

How a challenge works

  1. Turn on Friends from your account. It's optional.
  2. Add your friend with their full email or @username. You both accept the friendship.
  3. Send the challenge: type, goal and a 7-, 14- or 30-day length.
  4. Your friend accepts and you both see your progress. Either of you can cancel anytime.

Challenge types

What each challenge measures
ChallengeHow it's measured
WeightsDays with a logged weights session.
CardioTotal distance from your cardio logs.
NutritionDays on goal: protein at 90% and calories between 85% and 110% of your goal. Everyone uses their own goals.
WeightThe percentage each person loses, up to 10%. Nobody's weight is ever shared.
ConsistencyDays with at least one log.
PointsThe same points as your rank.

Weekly leaderboard

Friends shows your group's points and logged days over the last 7 days, including today. It updates when each person opens Friends.

Points, streaks and 25 ranks

Every log earns points and protects your streak. Points take you up 25 ranks, each with its own badge. The top three also require consistency: 8, 12 or 16 logged days in the last 28. If you stop logging your rank can drop, but your points stay.

Your profile to share

If you enable it, you get a page at fituba.com/your_username with your @username, rank, points, streak, consistency calendar and pinned achievements. Share it with friends or your coach. It does not show meals, weight, goals, measurements or email, and you can turn it off anytime from your profile.

Achievements you choose to show

With your public profile active, you can pin up to three available achievements: a rank, a streak or a completed challenge. You choose which ones and can remove them from Profile.

For example, after completing a strength challenge, you can pin the achievement and open Share. Review the vertical card and choose which available charts to include before sharing or downloading it.

Protein and fat charts are only added if you select them. Sharing an image is a separate choice from enabling your profile; review its content and destination before sending it.
