How to do it
- Press the bar overhead while keeping your core tight.
- Grip just wider than your shoulders, forearms vertical and glutes squeezed.
- Move your face out of the way as you press and finish with the bar over mid-foot, arms by your ears.
Common mistakes
- Leaning back and turning it into an incline press.
- Flaring your elbows out to start.
- Using your legs to drive the bar.
