How to do it
- Keep your pelvis level as you lift on one leg.
- Lift the other leg with the knee bent and keep it still.
- Push through the planted heel and rise only until hips and torso line up.
Common mistakes
- Letting the hip drop on the free-leg side.
- Twisting your torso to help you up.
- Swinging the raised leg for momentum.
