How to do it
- Rest your upper back on the pad and the belt pad over your hips; raise them until they line up with your torso.
- Feet planted on the platform; at the top, your shins are almost vertical.
- Chin toward your chest; pause at the top and squeeze your glutes before lowering.
Common mistakes
- Arching your lower back instead of extending your hips.
- Letting the pad drop and bouncing at the bottom.
- Lifting your upper back off the pad as you push.
