How to do it
- With your back supported, push your knees out against the pads without lifting your hips off the seat.
- Pads on the outside of your knees; start with your legs almost together.
- Open until you feel the side of your glutes, pause for a second and close slowly.
Common mistakes
- Rocking your torso to open wider.
- Letting your legs snap shut.
- Loading so much weight that the range shrinks to a couple of inches.
