How to do it
- Rest the weights on your thighs and raise your heels without lifting your toes.
- Knees at 90° and toes on a step or plate for more range.
- Seated works the soleus more: rise, pause and lower into the stretch.
Common mistakes
- Resting the load far from your knees.
- Bouncing at the bottom.
- Only rising halfway.
