How to do it
- Rise onto your toes and lower with control, no bouncing.
- Rise onto the balls of your feet as high as you can and pause for a second.
- Lower slowly until you feel your calves stretch; knees nearly straight.
Common mistakes
- Bouncing at the bottom.
- Short range because the load is too heavy.
- Letting your ankles roll out.
