How to do it
- Keep your upper arms pointing up and move the load by bending your elbows.
- Hold the dumbbell with both hands under the top plate.
- Elbows forward and close to your head; lower behind your neck with control.
Common mistakes
- Letting your elbows flare out.
- Arching your lower back: brace your core and glutes.
- Dropping it fast behind your head.
