How to do it
- Push your hips back with soft knees and the load close to your legs.
- Neutral back and shoulders back; the bar grazes your thighs and shins.
- Lower until you feel your hamstrings stretch, around mid-shin, and come up by driving your hips forward.
Common mistakes
- Rounding your back to go lower.
- Bending your knees like a squat.
- Letting the bar drift away from your body.
